Date added: 14/06/2013 Richard Wassell 100,000m Indoor Rowing World Record Attempt
Richard Wassell – He’s a 47 year old adaptive CrossFit athlete from Perth WA who will attempt to break the 100,000m indoor rowing world record which is currently 11 hours and 45 minutes.
We at VitaCocoAUandNZ are delighted to support him with Vita Coco Natural Coconut Water for the optimum level of hydration. It’ll give him back essential electrolytes such as potassium (1 unit of Vita Coco contains more than in 2 bananas). Potassium is important to prevent cramps, carrying blood and oxygen to the cells and to help muscles work on an optimum level, plus for recovery after the workout.
Throughout his life, Richard has always been competitive, and has continually challenged himself physically and mentally, and he wants to show that having a disability is no obstacle and shouldn't hold you back. Richard wants to act as a role model for the kids of Variety Australia – The Children’s Charity he supports. VitaCocoAUandNZ totally supports you in these goals, Richard!
The attempt will take place on Saturday 29th June 2013 at the Claremont Showgrounds during Southern Crossfit’s annual Primal Throwdown event and Richard is hoping to raise $1000+ for Variety Australia – The Children’s Charity.
